Have you ever asked yourself, what is the cost of artistic expression? Actual Lives is not your regular theatre project. The cost of this kind of self-expression might surprise you. Our work redefines "accessibility" through a commitment to providing real-time captioning, American Sign Language interpretation, and Audio Description at all of the shows we produce. When we have performers with hearing or visual impairments we provide appropriate accommodations during writing workshops and rehearsals as well. For some shows, the cost of accessibility accommodations equals the cost of securing the performance venues.

Your tax-deductible contribution to the Actual Lives Performance Project will make a difference in many ways.

• $50 Underwrites transportation costs for performers with limited mobility.
• $100 Helps pay for stage lighting or technical assistance.
• $200 Pays for the printing of performance night programs and promo materials.
• $300 Allows us to provide real-time captioning during performances and/or rehearsals, or helps obtain a venue.
